A Saju BaZi Two-Chart Reading · 四柱八字合盤

Two charts.
One map.

Most compatibility readings hand you a score — and only ever about romance. In fact, you can read: Love & Marriage · Business Partnership · Investment & Money Partners · Parent & Child · Hiring & Key People — where your energies feed each other, where they grind, and which months open.

Because the question was never really "are we compatible". It's "how does this pairing work, and what does it need from me".

See The Five Relationship Types

Five relationships. One method.

The same two charts,
read for what you're deciding.

Choose the lens that matches your situation — the method underneath is the same, the questions it answers are not.

1 · Love & Marriage

Why the friction sits exactly where it sits

For couples, for people in the middle of something difficult, and for anyone deciding whether to commit.

This reading looks at the spouse palace in both charts, how your day pillars meet, and what each of you is natively made of — why certain conversations always end the same way, and how to say the thing you keep trying to say in a language their chart can actually receive.

You'll learn: why the friction sits where it sits · what your partner needs that you may be withholding without knowing · which months are open for the important conversation · what reconnection will look like when it starts, so you don't miss it.

2 · Business Partnership

Who holds the money, who holds the structure

For co-founders, for people about to sign, and for partnerships that already exist and have started to strain.

Two charts in business tell you something a contract can't: who is built to hold the money, who the structure, and who makes the thing. This reading maps that division honestly — including whether both of you are wired to lead the same territory.

You'll learn: the natural division of roles and decision rights · where you'll compete for the same ground · the months that favour signing, launching and expanding · which protections belong in writing before you begin.

3 · Investment & Money Partners

Two risk appetites, one pool of capital

For people putting capital into something together — a property, a fund, a venture, a family asset.

Risk appetite is written into a chart. One person's chart wants the steady, compounding kind of money; another's wants the fast, opportunistic kind. Neither is wrong — and a partnership that doesn't know which is which will discover the difference at the worst possible moment.

You'll learn: each person's native relationship to risk and reward · where your instincts diverge under pressure · the years and months when both charts favour entering, and the ones that call for holding · the role each of you should hold on the financial side.

Offered for reflection — not financial advice. Investment decisions are yours, and are best made with a qualified professional.

4 · Parent & Child

The nourishment their chart is asking for

For parents who love their child and suspect they are speaking the wrong language to them.

Every child's chart carries a particular kind of nourishment it needs in order to grow — and it is very often not the kind their parent is naturally built to give. That mismatch is ordinary, and it is fixable once you can see it.

You'll learn: what your child's chart is actually asking for · how your own chart's instincts help and where they overshoot · the seasons that ask for more structure and the ones that ask for more room · how to support the years ahead as they arrive.

This reading describes tendencies and needs. It never issues verdicts about who a child will become, and every recommendation is written for the parent's actions, not the child's character.

5 · Hiring & Key People

How authority lands, and what actually holds them

For founders and leaders making a hire that matters, or trying to keep someone they can't afford to lose.

Reporting lines are a structure, and charts have opinions about structure. This reading reads the working relationship between two charts: how direction is received, how much autonomy this person needs before they start to resist, what holds them, and the periods when their chart turns restless.

You'll learn: how this person receives direction, and the delegation boundary that keeps them productive · where friction will appear as the relationship matures · the windows that favour onboarding, promotion and renewal · the honest signals that someone's chart has entered a season of movement.

A note I take seriously: the other person's chart is read so you can work with their rhythm — never so it can be used against them. That principle is written into every reading I deliver.

What I need from you

Three things. One short form.

  • Both people's date of birth, exact time of birth, and city of birth — the city matters, because every chart here is corrected to true solar time before it is read.
  • A short description of the relationship as it stands, in your own words. What you tell me shapes the reading; what I find elsewhere never enters it.
  • One or two specific questions you'd like answered.

If an exact birth time isn't available, write to me before ordering and I'll tell you honestly whether a meaningful reading is still possible.

Questions people ask

Asked, answered.

Is this the same as Chinese zodiac compatibility?
Zodiac compatibility matches two year signs — one character from each person, shared with a twelfth of everyone alive. This reading places both complete birth charts side by side — four pillars each, eight characters per person — which is why two supposedly incompatible signs often turn out to work beautifully, and two perfect ones grind. The sign is the cover; the chart is the book.
Does the other person need to know?
No. All I need are their birth details. But the reading is written on one assumption, and I'd rather state it plainly: this is a map for how you move, not a document to hand to someone else as evidence. Their month-by-month chapter exists so you can meet their rhythm — never so you can quote it at them.
Will you tell me whether we should stay together, or sign, or hire them?
No, and I'd be careful of anyone who would. A chart reads weather, not verdicts. It can tell you what season you are in, what this pairing is structurally made of, and when the windows open. The decision stays where it belongs — with the people making it.
What if we've already been together for years?
Those are often the most useful readings. Thirteen years of the same argument usually has a structure underneath it, and seeing the structure tends to be more relieving than painful.
I've already had a Personal Reading. Will this repeat it?
No. Where the two documents touch, the compatibility reading points back to what you already read rather than restating it, and spends the pages on what's new: the other chart, the interaction, and the timing.
What if the answer isn't what I hoped?
I write what the charts show, warmly and without drama. In my experience the honest version is nearly always more usable than the flattering one — and it almost always contains something to do.
